ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç alumna Cheya Thousand has founded a new scholarship in partnership with the (ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç FEF). The Cheya Thousand Resilience Scholarship aims to invest in rising professionals who embody resilience, leadership, and determination.
This scholarship is a $10,000 fund. The awarded students must be in at least their second semester at LIM and will receive denominations of between $500 and $2,000 annually over the course of five years.
Thousand, who earned her Fashion Merchandising BBA from ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç in 2009, is herself an entrepreneur in the leadership development space, having founded the company in 2017. In a recent feature by WWD, she said the following: "This scholarship is about more than money. It’s a reminder that perseverance and self-belief can carry you through anything."
