Madelynn Brown earned her BBA in Marketing from ºÚÁÏ´óʼÇ. A 2013 graduate, Madelynn has since held management roles at Expedia and Amazon. Now, the Seattle native is a senior program manager in digital marketing at Microsoft.
, Madelynn speaks about the ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç courses that taught her the professional skills she uses on a daily basis at Microsoft, as well as the internship classes that gave her effective networking tools.
"I attended ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç with the initial goal of working in fashion merchandising and ended up in tech marketing/engineering," Madelynn tells WWD. "I took courses such as global retailing, economics, business accounting, and marketing—and those classes helped me develop the skills I use today."
She continues, "Learning how to create an effective résumé, develop my personal pitch, and make professional connections really gave me a head start on getting my foot in the door at a big company."
